Four-Meter High Snow

The recent snowstorms in the northern Golan have led to near-record highs there. Snow at the upper cable-car at the Mt. Hermon ski site is now four meters high, the highest it’s been in 11 years.

The recent snowstorms in the northern Golan have led to near-record highs there. Snow at the upper cable-car at the Mt. Hermon ski site is now four meters high, the highest it’s been in 11 years. The lower cable-car has 1.5 meters of snow, and ski conditions there are reported to be "excellent." Rain is expected in Israel from tomorrow through Friday. The Kinneret level: 213.14 meters below sea level - only 14 centimeters below the "red line."
