It was cleared for publication this evening (Wednesday) that Staff Sergeant David Sasson, a 21-year-old resident of Ganot Hadar, was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
David served in the Oketz Canine Unit.
Twelve soldiers were wounded in the battle in which David was killed, five seriously.
Another soldier from the Oz Brigade was seriously wounded in another battle in southern Gaza.
