Speed limits on two Israeli highways will be raised shortly. Transportation Ministry officials say that on Highway 1 between Tel Aviv and Shaar HaGai, and on Highway 4 between Tel Aviv and Ashdod, the speed limit will jump from 100 to 110 kilometers per hour. Officials are also considering raising the limit on the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv from 90 to 100 kph.
