Palestinian terrorists fired ten mortar shells at Gush Katif communities on Israel's southern Mediterranean coast last night. No one was hurt. The IDF took anti-terror action in Al-Mawazi in Gaza, and razed the home of a Fatah terrorist who took part in the murder of two soldiers last year. A woman was killed during the demolition, even though the soldiers called out to all the occupants to exit the building.



In other Palestinian terrorism since last night, firebombs were hurled at soldiers in PA-controlled Tul Karem, and police were shot at near Maaleh Adumim; there were no injuries. IDF soldiers acting in Hevron closed stores and a bank last night; the bank was re-opened when it was realized that it had been closed by mistake. IDF forces also took anti-terrorism action in Kalkilye, looking for terrorists and weaponry; one person was killed and others were wounded while trying to evade capture… A total of 15 terror suspects, including eight wanted terrorists, were arrested throughout Yesha last night…



An explosion was heard in Ramallah early this afternoon; it turned out that the car of the director of Qatar's Al Jazeera television was blown up... There were shots at an IDF base north of Jerusalem, causing some damage but no casualties... A wanted Islamic Jihad terrorist was stopped at the Bekaot Junction and arrested; he is suspected of planning a terrorist attack against Israelis... Minister of Public Security Uzi Landau today extended the closure order on Orient House, the PA's Jerusalem headquarters. Landau explained his decision as being based on security agency recommendations.
