The rainstorms in the north of the past few days have added 33 centimeters of height to the Kinneret Sea in the past week - including no less than 20 centimeters, or 34 million cubic meters of water, since yesterday. The country's largest reservoir now stands at 213.37 meters below sea level - more than a meter higher than it was at the beginning of the rainy season almost two months ago. Another 4.5 meters are required for the Kinneret to reach its optimum level. The current rains are expected to taper off today.
