The Jerusalem police and security forces are out in record numbers to protect the celebrants for tonight\'s Jerusalem Day celebrations. The city is celebrating the 34th anniversary of its liberation and unification, which occurred on the third day of the Six Day War in June 1967. Celebrations will begin this afternoon; boys will begin dancing and marching towards the Old City from Sacher Park, and girls will start from Independence Park. A central prayer rally and Hassidic music show will be held at the Western Wall at 7:30 PM. Another major event will be held tonight at Yeshivat Merkaz Harav Kook, where Prime Minister Sharon and IDF Chief of Staff Mofaz will speak. Students will sing and march to the Western Wall afterwards.
