After being released from Hamas captivity after 54 days, Ofir Engel arrived Saturday at the Hamas tunnel replica built in Hostages Plaza in Tel Aviv.

Ofir, 17, toured the tunnel together with Yuval Sharabi, his girlfriend, and her sister Ophir Sharabi, the daughters of Yossi Sharabi and the nieces of Eli Sharabi, who have been held captive by Hamas in Gaza for 100 days.

While walking through the tunnel, Ofir said with a trembling voice: "Walking in this tunnel is terrifying, and being a hostage underground is unbearable. Their time is running out. They must be released now."

Last month, Ofir spoke during his first visit to Kibbutz Be'eri, where he was kidnapped from on the morning of October 7.

"Three terrorists entered the house, two with guns, one with RPG - something they shouldn't do," Engel described. "Then, they took me into a blackout."

"The last thing I remember is being carried away, and Evan, my girlfriend, said, 'I love you.' They abused us mentally. They told us that the families don't want us to come back, and that we are going to stay in Gaza more than [a] year."

"One of the most difficult movements was when the terrorists moved us twice in absolute darkness, with nonstop booms all around us," he shared.

"I was there. And every moment the hostages are there - is danger. They have no time. Why do I get to be here and they don't? They all have to come back home - now," he concluded.
