The IDF cleared for publication on Monday afternoon the names of three IDF soldiers who fell in battle on Sunday in the southern Gaza Strip:

Major (Res.) Roman Bronshtein, 46, from Bat Yam, an instruction officer in Battalion 8111 of the 5th Brigade.

Captain (Res.) Eliya Yanovsky, 24, from Jerusalem, a platoon commander in Battalion 8111 of the 5th Brigade.

Master Sargeant Ari Yehiel Zenilman, 32, from Jerusalem, a soldier in the in Battalion 8111 of the 5th Brigade.

The three were killed in the village of Al-Qarara, east of Khan Yunis, together with Sergeant Major Etay Perry and Major (res.) Eviatar Cohen, whose names were released for publication earlier in the day. Their infantry force was hit by explosives planted in a school in the village where Hamas terrorists and an anti-tank cell were operating.

In addition, a reservist from Battalion 7155 of the 55th Brigade was severely wounded in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
