PVT Ori Megidish, who was abducted by Hamas on October 7th and was freed in an IDF operation at the beginning of the ground invasion, has released a video in which she expresses hope for the release of the rest of the hostages.
Ori starts the video by saying: "Hi, I'm Ori Megidish. Nearly a month ago, I came home, and I am, first of all, happy to see all of the touching videos of the hostages who are coming home to their families."
Megidish continues, "I hope and wish that all the families who are still waiting for the hostages will reunite and also experience the same moments that I experienced. And I hope that everyone returns, and G-d willing, they will return.
I am fine, and I am at home with my family, and I'm enjoying myself, and I'm happy that I got my life back," she concludes.
The second part of the video features comical outtakes from the process of creating the first part and banter with her parents, who can be heard in the background.
At one point, when Ori says, "Nearly a month ago, I came home," her mother interjects and adds, "from captivity." To this, Ori replies sharply, "Nu mom, I know I came home from captivity."
