Interior Minister Moshe Arbel announced on Thursday that he intends to renounce the status of Hamas terrorists Majid Juabeh and Rashid Rashak due to their work to advance and support terrorism against Israel as part of their membership in the Hamas and Shabab al-Aqsa organizations.
Majid Juabeh, as part of his membership in the terror organization, worked to enlist operatives, pay salaries, organize and participate in public activities that support Hamas, and transfer money to families of the organization's terrorists.
Rashid Rashak worked from when he was a minor in a stabbing attack against an Israeli civilian in the Old City of Jerusalem, participated in a violent incident on the Temple Mount, founded a militant cell together with additional Hamas terrorists that aimed to carry out terror attacks against Israelis and to abduct soldiers, and promoted riots against security forces.
The Interior Minister sent an official notice via the Israel Prisons Service to the terrorists that he intends, within 14 days, to act on his authority in accordance with Section 11A of the Israel Entry Law, which concerns the denial of entry due to a breach of allegiance to the State of Israel.
