Palestinian Authority (PA) cabinet leader Mohammad Shtayyeh claimed on Wednesday that the PA is responsible for what is happening in the Gaza Strip and will continue to bear this responsibility and provide services in all fields to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
In a message he published on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the declaration of “Palestinian independence”, Shtayyeh claimed that "despite the war of annihilation waged by Israel in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian people are strengthened in their belief that the victory of the homeland over the occupation is certain and that the Palestinian blood shed will not be in vain."
"The Gaza Strip is part of the lands occupied since 1967, and the occupied lands are one unit whose capital is Jerusalem and which cannot be divided," he added.
"The Palestinian people will not cease from continuing their struggle within the framework of their legitimate and sole representative, the PLO, which includes the Fatah movement, which leads the national struggle," he concluded.
