IDF 36th Division attacks deep in the Gaza Strip and positions on the coast

The 36th Division launched an attack last week in northern Gaza as part of the expansion of ground operations in Gaza and reached the coastline.

Since the morning (Sunday), the 36th Division attacked about 50 targets, including combat areas, operational locations, outposts and positions, underground infrastructure, and terrorists who were eliminated in face-to-face battles.

The IDF states that the division's role is to encircle Gaza City and strike and destroy selected targets, including significant assets and terrorist headquarters of the Hamas terrorist organization.

During the fighting, the 36th Division attacked over 1,600 Hamas targets, including the organization's infrastructure, weapons storage facilities, anti-tank missile launch and observation posts, and Hamas operatives.

From the beginning of the fighting, the soldiers of the 36th Division killed over 300 terrorists by artillery fire and in coordination with the Air Force and in battles conducted by the infantry and armored soldiers.
