Gazan media reported this morning (Sunday) that two kidnappers of 85-year-old Yaffa Adar from Kibbutz Nir Oz were killed in an IDF airstrike.

According to the reports, the two kidnappers are Alaa and Issam, residents of Gaza who are not affiliated with Hamas.

The two recorded themselves kidnapping Adar while one of the kidnappers was filming and driving and another kidnapper was sitting next to her.

A week and a half after the outbreak of the war, her granddaughter Orian told Radio 103FM that "I never knew it was so difficult to see the sunrise. The mornings and nights are the hardest, because in the morning you get up and realize that the world continues to exist while they are not with us, and at night you have silence to realize that they might be freezing, we hear the explosions and we don't know what they are experiencing there. During the day we try to be active, to do everything we can to bring them home."

"She is amazing. She loved the country, her family very much. Her grandchildren were the whole world, her great-grandchildren, my children. She loved to read, she loved Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball games, that's something we all have in our kindergartens. She loved life. She was completely clear-headed, sharp, brilliant, until the day they took her, and at the same time, like any 85-year-old woman, her body no longer works the same."

"She had heart and kidney problems, very high blood pressure that even on normal days with pills was difficult to balance, she has herniated discs, she walks with a walker."
