On Thursday, in response to fire from Lebanon toward Israel, the IDF struck a terrorist cell inside a Hezbollah compound and struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure in Lebanon.
Also on Thursday night, a terrorist cell that attempted to launch anti-tank missiles from Lebanon toward Israel in the Mount Dov area was struck by IDF tanks.
Furthermore, an IDF soldier was moderately injured and a reservist soldier was lightly injured Thursday after a UAV hit an IDF post in the Mount Dov area.
The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.
On Thursday evening, the IDF announced that its soldiers are carrying out defensive activities along the northern border, including observation efforts, patrols, and other proactive operations.
The forces are operating near the security fence in order to strengthen defensive efforts and immediately eliminate any threat. This activity is augmented by integrated intelligence collection on the ground and in the air to maintain a high level of readiness and vigilance.
