Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich held a press conference this evening (Thursday) in which they announced economic measures for the benefit of the citizens to continue dealing with the war in Gaza.
Netanyahu stated "Today we are announcing a series of measures, some of which have already been implemented, and some of which will be implemented in the coming days. This is just the beginning. We will defeat the enemy militarily, and we will also win the economic war."
"We will open taps to flow money to everyone who needs it like we did during the coronavirus crisis," he added.
In addition to helping affected civilians, the Finance and Economy ministries have both released plans to allow donations to the war effort to more easily allow donations from outside of Israel to reach either those affected by the war or to be brought directly to the war effort.
