A Hamas website published (Monday) a major article entitled "The Military Spokesman of the Al-Qassam Brigades."
"Abu Obeidah rolls up his sleeves while Netanyahu is a walking political corpse!" the article claims.
The article quotes Abu Obeidah in a video that "strengthened the morale" among the Palestinian people by detailing the stories of Hamas operatives who invaded Israel on October 7, the production of weapons by Hamas, and the proposal for a prisoner exchange.
"Abu Obeidah delivered a confident, strong and realistic speech that can be implemented to achieve a concrete goal against the occupation government, which he confronted with a demand to immediately complete the exchange deal that would lead to the release of all prisoners from both sides," it said.
Compared to these achievements on the side of Hamas, it was emphasized that, on the other hand, on the Israeli side, "It becomes clear the extent of the debate and the growing disappointment that exists in the official and public Zionist circles and that Netanyahu's personality is a focus of controversy in the Israeli public, large sections of which demand his immediate resignation and do not trust him in the conduct of the war."
In this context, the Hamas website quoted from articles written in this spirit by Ben Caspit in Maariv, Nir Kipnis in Walla, Ravit Hecht in Haaretz, and an article in Haaretz newspaper in which a Likud official was quoted as saying that Netanyahu's actions are bringing his political end closer.
