Shimrit Meir, former senior advisor to former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett commented on the state of morale among the residents of the Gaza Strip.

"I went through the discourse, articles, social media, etc. on the other side. They see the Israeli troops moving in, thousands of dead, hundreds of thousands of displaced people, a lack of basic products, Hezbollah not helping them (yet), and no help from Judea and Samaria or Israeli Arabs either."

Meir tells how she believes Hamas and Gaza are carrying on so far: "What are they hanging on as a point of light that they hope may decide the war is the internal dispute within Israel."

Meir also advises how to fight back: "One constructive suggestion in the meantime: Do not respond or respond to fakes at all. If it's not a real person, or it doesn't seem like one to you, ignore or block them."

"I see serious people having a lively discussion with psychotic fakes and completely unrestrained individuals who are probably being operated by someone who is operating 40 more accounts at the same time."

"There are several machines, not one machine, and there are the enemy's mind games. A necessary (but not sufficient) condition for discussion: you must be 100% sure that it is a real person you are speaking with."
