Israel's current approach of playing defense again and again on the global platform at the United Nations (UN) makes Israel and the Jewish nation appear weak by constantly acting on the defensive time after time while the truth of the matter is that Israel is the victim and Hamas and Iran are the aggressors.
Furthermore, Israel and the world should demand that the UN hold its officials accountable for their biased actions. It is important to address the recent shocking statement made by the UN's Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, who seemed to justify the atrocities committed by Hamas and accused Israelis of bringing violence upon themselves. Such statements not only perpetuate a dangerous narrative but also undermine the values of justice and human rights that the UN is meant to uphold.
Let’s not forget the UN was established after World War II with the primary goal of maintaining global peace and security. It was meant to be a forum for nations to come together and address common challenges, such as protecting the world from another Holocaust and fighting to protect human rights around the globe. However, over the years, the UN has become increasingly biased against Israel and has failed to fulfill its original purpose.
Instead of playing defense, Israel must change its strategy outside of Israel and become proactive. Rather than constantly defending itself once attacked, Israel should aggressively proactively attack the UN body on multiple fronts and demand that it fulfill its obligations and live up to the purpose for which it was established. This means pointing out the UN's failures and biases, and demanding that it take action against real terrorism and Human Rights injustice done by nations with real Human rights issues which that body chooses to turn a blind eye to.
Israel's Ambassador should not need to prove Israel is a victim to the UN or to the world by showing videos of Hamas Barbarism and beheading a civilian, Every Human knows there is Good and there is Evil.
The evidence of the barbarism and terrorism inflicted by Hamas murdering over 1000 Israeli citizens men women and children in the most horrendous ways is abundantly clear to anyone who wants to see the Truth. Continually trying to convince a body like the UN, which is tainted by a Union of countries who have Jewish blood on their hands for thousands of years, a shameful Group of anti-Semites, biased and united under the name of world Peace, is humiliating. It was after the brutal murder of 6 Million Jews, using the excuse of Jewish spilled blood, it was decided to establish the U.N and its members today are now using the UN to continue the job the Nazis didn’t finish - destroy the Jews in their own land.
This very body is not owning up to protecting world peace but is responsible for instigating hate and supporting terror and Human Rights abuse, with the most shocking action that taken by UN Chief blaming Israel for the Hamas attack, making it sound justified.
Israel must recognize that it is facing a highly effective PR campaign by Hamas and other terrorist groups. These groups manipulate for years the narrative, portraying themselves as victims rather than aggressors. On the other hand, Israel has failed to establish a strong proper PR team to counteract and prevent the spread of false information on an international level.
To achieve this, Israel should create a powerful global PR team immediately, putting its internal politics aside.
This team would be tasked with presenting the truth about Israel year round in a positive light, countering the biased mainstream media that often spreads false information, resulting in putting Israel on the defensive side again and again. It is crucial to combat the false narratives and ensure that the international community has access to accurate information.
Israel should demand that the UN condemn terrorism in all its forms and take action against countries supporting it, regardless of the perpetrators. This includes denouncing the actions of Hamas and other terrorist groups that threaten the security of Israel and its citizens and supporting Israel's efforts to defend itself.
It is time for Israel to change its approach and demand that the UN remember why it was established in the first place. By being proactive, creating a strong global PR team, and publicly holding the UN accountable, Israel can bring attention to the biased treatment it receives and demand fair treatment. Only through a change in approach and a demand that action be taken can genuine progress be made.
