The Gaza Division, Border Authority in the Ministry of Defense, and the Technology and Logistics Division have been working since the beginning of the fighting and under fire, to repair and return the sites and facilities that were damaged by ​​the fence to service, mainly the observation posts.

As part of the joint effort - "Opening our Eyes to Gaza again" – the sites were scanned and cleared of mines and new systems and facilities were installed in the area.

Commander of the Rehabilitation and Maintenance Center, Col. Tomer Schreiber, said: "We have all been mobilized for the benefit of this mission and we will operate at all hours of the day and in any area that is required. We will continue to cooperate and work together to strengthen the control of the area."

Commander of Battalion 414, Col. Ofir Avram, added: "During the last few weeks we have been restoring the observation posts, under threat and during combat in a mission-oriented and determined manner. Our forces are working at all hours with the aim of restoring the facilities, and identifying and destroying the enemy."

Col. Adar Cohen, Head of Defense Systems at the Border Authority in the Ministry of Defense concluded: "Since the beginning of the war, the Authority has been leading the reconstruction and return to working order of the collection and computers system, the preliminary preparation, intensive work and the commitment of the people resulted in the coverage being completed almost in full as it was pre-war. Our men are working 24/7 under fire, in the most dangerous places, in order to restore the situation to what it was and to support the division's effort in defense and attack. We will continue to work together for as long as necessary."
