Stunning footage captured the moments a family in Rishon Lezion narrowly escaped a rocket strike on their apartment building last night (Wednesday).
The parents, carrying their small children, exited their apartment to seek shelter as the Red Alert sirens activated in their area. Soon afterward, a rocket struck the building, causing significant damage.
The rocket strike occurred during a barrage fired by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip shortly before 10 pm last night.
Following the barrage, Magen David Adom (MDA) EMTs and Paramedics treated and evacuated four casualties, all in light condition condition. Two people were injured in Rishon Lezion, a 48-year-old female was injured by glass shards, and a male was injured by shrapnel. Two more people were injured in the Petah Tikva area: a 13-year-old male with a blast injury to his head and a female who was injured while en route to her nearest secure room.
