The European Union is seriously considering levying taxes on Israeli products manufactured in Judea and Samaria. The European Customs Authorities have sent a list of thousands of products to Israel whose location of manufacture they wish to clarify. Israel fears that a decision may be made at the meeting of European Foreign Ministers next week to declare products made in Yesha and the Golan as non-Israeli. Peace Now and other left-wing organizations have been working towards this goal for a while.
