Terrorism in Gaza is increasing. The latest attack occurred late this morning when Palestinian terrorists fired an anti-tank rocket at a convoy of cars that left Netzarim. No one was hurt, and IDF soldiers returned fire. Cars travel to and from Netzarim only in scheduled convoys or with appropriate bullet-proof defenses.
Other attacks in Gaza since last night include:
* Kassam rockets against Jewish communities in northern and central Gaza, damaging one home.
* Two incidents of Arab gunfire at IDF buses, one near the Tarmit base on the Israeli-Egyptian border, and the other near Kerem Shalom; both vehicles sustained damage, but no one was hurt.
* Arab shooting at Israeli soldiers in N’vei Dekalim; no one was hurt.
Well over 2,000 rockets and shells have been fired at the Jews of Gush Katif and Gaza over the past 28 months, yet only one soldier was killed and one person was seriously injured. The feeling of "constant miracles" has caused one resident to write that "we have become tired of trying to explain what we are experiencing because it is truly incomprehensible to those who are not experiencing it. Most of us now suffice with a feeling of 'great abundance,' of pure and strong faith, and strong feelings of gratefulness to G-d which is enabling us to realize so clearly His direct intervention every moment... We are not paralyzed; we are all trying to spend more time doing what we know for sure G-d wants of us - because it's us and Him here - not themedia, not the government, not the glory of the place, not the Supreme Court, and not even the IDF."
