Some 45 students from Yeshiva University's Stern and Yeshiva Colleges, currently visiting Israel during their winter vacation, took a day off for a day of "Solidarity with Israel" organized by Yavneh Olami. They began their day in the Yad Eliezer charity organization food-packaging warehouse, where they packed food for needy families, and then continued on to Livnot Ul’hibanot to package food for IDF soldiers. Brigitte Kessler, whose daughter Gila was murdered last year by a Palestinian terrorist, addressed the group and thanked them for their support.

The Emunah Women's Organization in the United States announced that some 400 of its members would be arriving in Israel in six delegations over the coming weeks. The women will be visiting IDF bases, historic sites, tourist attractions, and locations were terrorist attacks occurred, and they will distribute toys to children in their homes and gifts to soldiers.
