A Lebanese talk show recently deteriorated into an exchange of blows between former Environment Minister and MP Wiam Wahhab and journalist Simon Abou Fadel.
During the July 20 show, which aired on MTV Lebanon, Wahhab compared the US sanctions to his shoe. To this Abou Fadel answered that Wahhab's shoe is his own problem, but it has nothing to do with reality.
This led to a shouting match, until Wahhab threw a glass of water at Abou Fadel, and the two came to blows.
The US Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions on Wahhab in 2007.
