The IDF announced late this afternoon that it arrested seven Palestinians this morning, from the Kalandia refugee camp, suspected of terrorism attacks against Israelis.
Israel Air Force combat helicopters attacked a building belonging to the Palestinian Authority\'s development-and-manufacturing of warfare materials branch last night. The building used to be the Israeli Administration headquarters. The IAF similarly attacked a PA Preventive Security complex in Jebaliya, Gaza, from where many attacks on Israeli targets originated. The IDF spokesman emphasized, after both incidents, that the army would continue to do whatever it can to maintain the security of Israel\'s citizens.

An Arab driver attempted to run down a woman soldier this morning between Adam and Hizme, northeast of Jerusalem. The incident began when she noticed the speeding car and signaled him to stop. He then tried to run her down; she was unhurt, and he sped off. Policemen gave chase, caught him, and found that he had no driver\'s license and that he was driving a stolen car.
An explosive device was detonated this morning near an army vehicle on the ascent to Mt. Eval, near Shechem. No one was hurt... An Arab from the Jerusalem-area village of Azariyah was arrested for throwing Molotov cocktails and rocks at Israeli cars. He confessed to the crimes. Azariyah was one of the villages that Ehud Barak promised to hand over to the Palestinian Authority; a public outcry arose, however, and the transfer was never carried out.
Soldiers stationed in Netzarim in northern Gaza were attacked by terrorist gunfire today; soldiers returned fire. Later in the day, mortar shells were fired at Netzarim... Border Guard police were stoned by residents of the Shuafat refugee camp in northern Jerusalem. Police used teargas to restore order...
