One person was murdered and three wounded in a Friday night terrorist infiltration into the Givat Harsina neighborhood of Kiryat Arba.
Two terrorists knocked on the door of a home at 7:30pm Friday night. Two of the Sabbath guests got up to let them in. As the door opened, the terrorists opened fire. Of the nine persons in the home, the father, Rabbi Netanel Ozeri, 34, was killed by the first burst of gunfire; and his 5-year-old daughter wounded moderately. Two other persons were wounded as well, one moderate and one light.
The attack took place in the Givat Harsina neighborhood, in the area known as Hill 26. The terrorists were dressed in civilian garb and their faces were covered. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. The terrorists used M-16 rifles according to military sources.
One terrorist was killed and the second wounded, but he managed to flee. Army forces tracked him down and he was killed on Saturday morning.
Funeral services for Rabbi Netanel Ozeri to be announced. He was the father of five children.
