The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned "the attacks by settler militias and their terrorist operatives against the Palestinian residents, their land, property, and homes in the occupied West Bank, including east Jerusalem."
In a press release published Sunday, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry states that "the terror attacks by settlers against Palestinian towns, villages, and population centers, especially in Area C, come close to being war crimes and a crime against humanity according to international law."
The release also states that "the ruling coalition in Israel, which is known for its extremism, fascism, and racism, adopts the crimes of the settler organizations and the terrorists, and grants a free hand to these militias to steal additional Palestinian lands and to allocate them to deepen and expand them as part of the gradual annexation of the (West) Bank.
The daily attacks by settlers that occur as a result of declarations and stances of the ruling coalition's leaders, and especially the incitement by the extremist Ministers Smotrich and Ben Gvir, in addition to the support, aid, and protection the military establishment grants to the militias, and the encouragement for them to carry out additional acts that violate human rights, crimes, and shooting to kill Palestinian civilians." the letter states.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the Secretary General of the UN and the international community to add the "settler organizations that carry out crimes against the Palestinians" to the list of terror organizations and to demand that Israel dissolve these "armed settler militias" and to dry up their funding.
