A 50-year-old Israeli was killed on Wednesday in a diving accident in Malta, reported journalist Itamar Eichner.
According to media reports in the island nation, the incident occurred at the Blue Lagoon.
Local police said that the Israeli was brought to the beach by locals, and that he was given first aid until an ambulance arrived and evacuated him to hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. The police are investigating the accident.
Meanwhile, another Israeli was killed in a car accident on the island of Phuket in Thailand.
