An indictment was filed against a 36-year-old suspect, a resident of Tamra, after he stole charity boxes from a business in the city.

The report of the theft was received at the police station about a month ago and by checking the security cameras a suspect was identified who entered the business through the window. After not finding any money in the cash register of the business left the place with the charity boxes kept near the register.

At the end of an investigation conducted by the Northern District of the Israel Police, the suspect was arrested and last week an indictment was filed against him and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings.

"We will continue to act decisively against those criminals who harm the personal safety and property of the public and will use a variety of means in order to bring them to justice," the Israel Police said.
