The Palestinian Authority bureau in charge of foreign affairs on Thursday expressed outrage at the decision of the District Court to issue an order delaying the evacuation of five buildings in the Binyamin region towns of Ma'ale Levona and Givat Haroeh.
In a statement, the bureau said that "the decision of the Israeli court expresses the involvement of the Israeli legal system in cooperation with the government in strengthening the settlement and expanding it."
The statement added that "this is further proof that the courts of the occupation are part of the occupation mechanism itself, and they make decisions which are based on that policy and are not related to any relevant law."
In addition, the statement said that "it is the duty of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to adopt this premise and not to give any weight or meaning to the courts of the occupation, and to issue warrants for the arrest of those responsible for the crime of the settlement."
