The story came to a sudden conclusion when the mother was hospitalized and passed of starvation.
"My mother was very sick. She had a tumor and wasn't able to get out of bed," says one of the smaller children. "Everything just happened at once. Now we don't have a home or parents."
"My mother passed away of organs failure. They ended up shutting down," says the daughter. "It's very tough living life with all the difficult things happening but we just try to make the best of it," she continues. "The only thing that keeps us going is sticking together and trying to have each other's backs."
"It's very heart-warming that people try to help those like us. My dream is to find a stable home and live a normal life with a good family that will take care of us," adds the tragedy-stricken girl.
The children say they have nowhere to go since being left on their own.
