In accordance with an assessment of the situation in the IDF, it was decided on Saturday night to gradually remove the restrictions that were imposed on the south during Operation Shield and Arrow.

The IDF stressed that these guidelines may change subject to and in accordance with an assessment of the situation.

As a first step, at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, restrictions will be lifted in localities in the West Negev, Central Negev, West Lachish and Lachish areas.

At 12:00 p.m., the restrictions will be lifted in localities in the Gaza envelope area. Limited activity will take place in the Gaza envelope, and no educational activities will take place, with the exception of special education activities that can be held in a place from which it is possible to reach a protected area in the event of sirens.

As for workplaces - it will be permitted to hold activities in a place from which one can reach a protected area in the event of sirens.

In terms of gatherings and services – those can be held with a limit of up to 10 people in an open area and up to 100 people in a building. The beaches will remain closed to the public.
