IDF soldiers who were operating early Wednesday morning in the Palestinian Arab town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, identified a suspicious vehicle with armed men who opened fire at them.

The soldiers responded by firing back, eliminating the two terrorists. A gun and an M16 were found in the vehicle.

Palestinian Arab sources reported that a number of Palestinian Arabs were injured during the IDF activity.

According to the reports, gunmen opened fire and threw explosives at the Israeli soldiers, who subsequently left the town.

On Tuesday morning, IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) forces operated in the Kasbah in the city of Shechem (Nablus) to apprehend a wanted individual suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.

During the activity, the forces located and confiscated two M-16 rifles and magazines. An additional wanted suspect was apprehended in the city of Nablus.

A violent riot was instigated, during which rocks were hurled by the rioters. The forces responded with riot dispersal means and live .22 caliber ammunition. During the exit of the forces from the city, armed gunmen shot live fire and hurled explosive devices toward them.

The forces apprehended three wanted suspects in the city of Hebron and adjacent towns. Two additional wanted suspects were apprehended in the towns of Al Mughayyir and Silwad. The forces located and confiscated a handgun and firework explosives in the town of Al Mughayyir. The forces also located and confiscated a handgun and military equipment in the town of 'Anata.

The forces apprehended an additional wanted suspect in 'Ayda Camp and confiscated an M-16 rifle along with magazines in the town of Jamma'in.

The wanted suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning. No IDF injuries were reported.
