A poll conducted by the Midgam Institute led by Meno Geva and published Sunday evening by Channel 12 showed that if new elections for the Knesset were held today, former Defense Minister Benny Gantz’s National Unity party would win 29 seats, making it the largest faction in the Knesset.

The Likud, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, would win 24 seats, the poll found, while Yesh Atid would receive just 18 seats.

The Religious Zionist Party alliance with Otzma polled at 11 seats.

Shas received 10 seats in the poll, with United Torah Judaism holding steady at 7 seats.

Among Opposition factions, Labor remains below the 3.25% threshold with 2.5%, while Meretz is projected to win 5 seats. Yisrael Beytenu retains it 6 seats according to the poll, while Hadash Ta’al and the United Arab List received 5 seats each. Balad does not pass the threshold, receiving only 2.1%.

If the elections were held today, the anti-Netanyahu bloc would win 63 seats, while the current Coalition factions would win 52 seats.

The poll also examined how the results would change if Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, chairman of the Religious Zionist Party, and National Security Minister of Internal Security Itamar Ben-Gvir of the Otzma Yehudit party ran separately. In such a case, the Likud would win just 23 seats, Otzma Yehudit would win 7 seats, and the Religious Zionist Party would win 5 seats.
