Palestinian terrorists apparently infiltrated the community, in the Ta'nachim region between Afula and the northern Shomron, and fired at passers-by. In addition, an IDF soldier is reported to be in serious condition after being shot by Arabs near the Israeli-Egyptian border close to Eilat. Two of the attackers are reported to have been shot dead.
