The Eretz Yisrael Forum in the Knesset convened yesterday for its first meeting since the new government took office. Arutz-7\'s Haggai Seri reports that the participants, most of them leading members of the nationalist camp, displayed feisty battle spirit but without a clear direction in which to channel it. Atty. Elyakim Ha\'etzni said, \"If the Sharon government decides on a settlement freeze in Judea and Samaria, I will no longer believe in its right to exist.\" MK Yigal Bibi of the opposition National Religious Party called upon the coalition MKs to join the NRP\'s planned no-confidence motion in the government, in the event that a settlement freeze is in fact instituted.
The participants decided to act to topple the government if steps towards stopping Yesha construction are taken. The Eretz Yisrael activists also resolved to demand a public and legal repudiation of the Oslo agreements. They stopped short of demanding a trial for those who formulated the agreements, but do insist on their providing a \"public accounting.\" It was also decided to demand that the government approve the army\'s military plans against the PA, and to officially term the PA a \"terrorist body,\" with all that that entails. Former MK Chanan Porat said that this is not enough: \"We must return our full sovereignty over all of Yesha. This is the strategy we must lead. I know that at first it doesn\'t sound good to many people, even those who are called \'nationalists.\' But I have news for you: Area A is also Eretz Yisrael!\"
