A poll which was published on Channel 12 News on Friday asked Likud voters who they think should lead the Likud after Benjamin Netanyahu is no longer the chairman of the party, whatever the reason for his stepping down would be.

23% of respondents believe that Economy Minister Nir Barkat should head the Likud, 13% think it should be Justice Minister Yariv Levin, while 11% believe that it is appropriate that Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, whom Netanyahu dismissed before backing down from the dismissal, should lead the party.

11% of the respondents believe that former Mossad head Yossi Cohen should be the leader of the Likud, 6% believe that Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana is the most suitable candidate for this, 4% think that the Minister of Transportation Miri Regev should be the chairwoman of the party, while only 2% of Likud voters believe Energy Minister Yisrael Katz should be the chairman.
