The Rav, as he was called, a descendant of the Brisker Rov dynasty, ordained close to 2,000 rabbis over the course of almost half a century and served as an advisor, guide, mentor, and role-model for tens of thousands of Jews, both as a Talmudic scholar and as a religious leader as well as being a world-renowned philosopher..
He passed away on the Intermediate Days of Passover thirty years ago.
