When former President Trump left the Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday afternoon after a hearing in which he was charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records over allegations involving hush money payments made to two women in 2016, he was followed by a legal team that included two men wearing kippahs.

The identities of the two Orthodox Jewish lawyers working on behalf of Trump have not been officially disclosed to the public, according to Yeshiva World News.

But the news outlet reported that one of the lawyers is Manhattan attorney Gedalia Stern, who has been “working on this case on behalf of Trump for some time,” sources said.

Stern is a graduate of Beth Medrash Govoha in New Jersey (2010) and attended Columbia Law School in 2014.

Yeshiva World News reported that the other kippah-wearing observant lawyer is Steven Yurowitz, who graduated from Yeshiva University’s Cardozo Law School in 1996.

According to the report, Yurowitz worked for the defense team representing the Trump Organization during its recent trial, and was only recently hired to be part of Trump’s current legal team.
