Unusual incident in Samaria: A Palestinian Arab on Friday evening stole an Israeli vehicle with two Israeli children, aged 3 and 4, inside.
The incident occurred when two Israelis, the grandparents of the two children, stopped their vehicle on a road in the vicinity of Beit Aryeh in Samaria. As they exited the vehicle, the Palestinian Arab entered it and began driving away towards Palestinian Authority-assigned areas with the two grandchildren still inside.
The grandparents contacted the police and the IDF, who dispatched security forces to the scene. The forces began pursuing the Arab and ultimately located the stolen vehicle, which was returned to its owners.
The children were unharmed. The Arab who stole the vehicle fled the scene.
