The official Israeli Government response to the Mitchell Report was submitted last night. Israel said that it accepts the recommendations in principle, except for the connection made between a ceasefire and the demand to freeze construction in Judea and Samaria. The government also does not accept the construction freeze in any event. Foreign Minister Shimon Peres said that he will attempt to find a formula regarding the settlements that will be acceptable to the Mitchell Committee. \"The dictionary is full of words,\" he said. Public Security Minister Uzi Landau demands that Prime Minister Sharon not accept Peres\' tendency to constrict the geographical growth of the Yesha towns.
