Conservative commentator Mark Levin and his wife, First America Legal Senior Counsel Julie Strauss, have thrown their full support behind OneFamily Fund’s fundraising participation in the 2023 Jerusalem Half-Marathon to benefit Jerusalem’s victims of terrorism – so much so, that Strauss has flown to the Holy Land to join their team of runners in the event on March 17, 2023.

“My wife Julie is a truly remarkable lady. Brilliant, beautiful, and energetic. She's very passionate about our family, faith and country, and the Jewish state of Israel,” Levin told CNS News, praising his wife’s participation in this year’s half-marathon. “She's also one of the best lawyers I know. I don't know how she balances it all,” the iconic radio and television host added, marveling at Strauss’ energy and diverse talents.

“As a marathon runner, there's no better place for her to run than the valleys and hills of Israel,” Levin added.

Strauss told CNS News that the experience of participating in Friday’s Holy Land event is more important to her than her speed or where she places.

Strauss is an accomplished long-distance runner, having previously competed in two half-marathons in Jerusalem, as well as in several full marathons and ultramarathons in other regions.

As of Thursday, Strauss’ supporters have pledged to donate more than eight thousand dollars to the OneFamily Fund, via the Zeffy fundraising platform, on behalf of her participation in the Jerusalem Half-Marathon.

Strauss says her Jewish faith, and upbringing as a Zionist, has filled her with a passionate resolve to come to the aid of those in Jerusalem suffering the deadly scourge of terrorism.

In the U.S., America First Legal (AFL) has filed a lawsuit against President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken for violating the Taylor Force Act, a federal law that prohibits the U.S. government from sending American taxpayer dollars to the Palestinian Authority (PA), until it stops supporting terrorism.

“For decades, the PA – lavishly funded by the U.S. and other Western governments – has paid terrorists to indiscriminately murder and maim people living in or visiting Israel,” AFL explains in a statement announcing the lawsuit:

“Among other things, the PA’s ‘Pay to Slay’ program rewards terrorists and their families with cash bounties based on the number and severity of the civilian casualties they inflict.”

During Friday's half-marathon, Strauss will wear a sign, pinned to the back of her shirt, touting her support for enforcement of the Taylor Force Act and the murdered U.S. Army Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran, for whom the law is named.

As AFL explains, the Biden Administration continues to fund the PA, despite the Taylor Force Act's prohibition:

“Responding to a Palestinian terrorist’s 2016 brutal murder of U.S. Army Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran and West Point graduate Taylor Force, and the subsequent Palestinian Authority’s payment of a bounty to the terrorist’s family, Congress passed and President Trump signed the Taylor Force Act. The Act prohibits U.S. economic assistance that directly benefits the Palestinian Authority unless and until the Secretary of State certifies the PA has terminated Pay to Slay.

“Under President Trump, the government obeyed the law. However, under President Biden, the government has lawlessly transferred hundreds of millions U.S. taxpayer dollars to directly benefit the Palestinian Authority. President Biden and Secretary Blinken are violating the law and financing the PA’s violent extremism and virulent, eliminationist antisemitism.”
