Israeli security forces recently apprehended eight wanted terror suspects believed to be responsible for a series of shooting attacks across Judea and Samaria, the IDF censor cleared for publication Tuesday.
The eight suspects were arrested in a series of operations in recent weeks carried out by the IDF and the Shin Bet internal security agency.
During the arrest raids, a number of firearms used in the attacks were found and confiscated.
The suspects were arrested prior to the deadly terrorist shootings in Huwara on Sunday and near the Dead Sea on Monday.
None of the shooting attacks attributed to the eight terrorists resulted in injuries.
The attacks include multiple incidents in or around the town of Nabi Salih, near Ramallah, in December and January, in which two of the suspects opened fire on IDF forces.
In a separate attack, one of the suspects opened fire on an Israeli car which drove near Rawabi in Samaria last month.
One of the most recent shootings attributed to the suspects was carried out last week at the Qalandia checkpoint on the northern edge of Jerusalem.
