The Movement for Quality in Government has appealed to the Supreme Court against the bill known as the Deri Law passed by the Knesset two days ago. The law says that parole may be granted to convicted offenders after they have served half - not 2/3 - of their prison terms. The Movement claims that the law presents a blow to citizens\' right to be secure from having crimes committed against them.
