In Parshat Mishpatim we find many commandments.

The Parsha has a certain frame, a certain structure to it, and part of it is having the commandments split into different paragraphs (Parshiyot).

In one of those Parshiyot we find 3 mitzvahs that it's hard to see the relationship and connection between them - the commandment not to bring an offering to an idol, the commandment to not mistreat a Ger (a foreigner that came to your land) and the commandment not to mistreat a widow and an orphan.

Besides understanding the connection between the commandments, each one of those commandments for itself isn't clear with the wording itself in the Pasuk.

As discussed in this video - there's actually a very deep connection between the commandments and understanding what each one is about - as they are the opening to the more "social" Mitzvahs we have.
