The Hamas terrorist organization condemned the Knesset's approval of a bill that would revoke the Israeli citizenship or residency of a terrorist who receives a salary from the Palestinian Authority.
This is a "law of a racist occupying authority that seeks to deport the (terrorist) prisoners from Jerusalem and Palestine, which has been occupied since 1948, by virtue of a law called the denial of citizenship or permanent residency, and this under the pretext of their fight against the occupation and its racist policies," said Hamas.
The organization also stated that "the Arab residents of Jerusalem and the lands occupied since 1948 will continue to hold on to the land and the homeland, and the racist laws will not deter them from continuing the fight against the fascist policies."
Meanwhile, Rawhi Fattouh, chairman of the Palestinian National Council, said that "the law will legalize collective expulsion based on unfounded claims made against non-Jews, and this is to establish a racist Jewish state, which does not recognize the other, and in particular the original inhabitants of the land, Palestinians, Muslims and Christians."
"The consequences of the racist law will lead to more crimes and this shows the racism and extreme madness of this fascist government, which works in all ways to enact laws that transcend fascism and criminal gangs," he claimed.
