Five victims of yesterday\'s terrorist attack at Tempo Junction will be laid to rest today. In Ashkelon Military Cemetery will be interred:
Cpl. Yasmin Karisi, 18, at 10 AM;
Cpl. Alexander Manvitz, 18, at 12:30 PM;
Sgt. Kochava Polansky, 19, at 2 PM;
and Sgt. Rachel Levy, 19, at 4 PM.
At 2:00, Simcha Sheetrit, 30, will be laid to rest in Rishon Letzion. She was the only civilian killed in the terror attack. The funeral service of Sgt. Julie Weiner, 21, of Jerusalem, is yet to be announced; her family is from France.
Thousands of persons attended the funeral services yestrday in Kiryat Malachi for St.-Sgt. Ophir Megidish and his next-door neighbor Sgt. David Ilouz. They were
interred next to one another.
The terrorist who murdered them by crashing his bus into a crowded bus stop yesterday is recovering from his wounds, and was interrogated by the GSS last night. He said that he decided several days ago to perpetrate the attack, and that it was not precipitated by the Israeli killing of terrorist leader Masoud Ayad two days ago. Nine of the wounded are still hospitalized, two in very serious condition.
