Jewish farmers on the Eitam Farm near Efrat south of Jerusalem have been under attack by Arabs from nearby towns over recent days.

Ten days ago, the Eitam synagogue was desecrated by Arab vandals.

During the Sabbath, Arabs pelted Jewish farmers with rocks, injuring at least one.

On Monday, Arabs again attacked the Jewish farmers. One of the farmers was forced to draw his weapon to disperse the Arab rioters.

The Israel Dog Unit (IDU) was called in to help secure the Eitam farm, deploying two patrol dogs and commencing immediate training to teach the farmers how to properly maintain the dogs and how to operate the fierce canines.

The I.D.U. has deployed more than 70 patrol dogs and offers free training to security personnel and Jewish farmers throughout Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.
