The Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar today (Thursday) called Minister of Foreign Affairs Eli Cohen and congratulated him on his assumption of office.
The ministers discussed the importance of the bilateral relationship between Israel and India, relations that are a strategic partnership, and ways to strengthen them through the promotion of a free trade agreement between the countries and projects in the field of innovation, food and water security.
The ministers also discussed the events to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which took place in 2022, and the cooperation between Israel and India, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
Minister Jaishankar invited Minister Cohen on an official visit to India in the near future.
