The journalist and musician Guy Meroz, who promised that he would leave the State of Israel if Itamar Ben-Gvir was appointed a minister in the government, told Israel National News-Arutz Sheva that he decided to continue living in the State of Israel despite the appointment of Ben Gvir as a minister.
After the publication of MK Ben-Gvir's demands in the coalition agreements, including transfer plans for terrorist supporters and the establishment of a ministry to encourage immigration, Meroz announced that he would leave the country if Ben-Gvir was appointed minister.
In a tweet on his Twitter account from last August, the former television presenter Meroz wrote: "Here is a message - if Ben-Gvir becomes a minister in the State of Israel - I will not live here anymore. Good day."
Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded to the words at the time: "I will buy you a ticket, pack your suitcase, and recommend kosher restaurants, although you probably eat raptor."
However, despite the appointment of Ben-Gvir as minister, the sometimes controversial Meroz decided to continue living in the State of Israel. Meroz explained to Israel National News-Arutz Sheva that his words were written in a moment of anger.
